Thank You for Supporting Sandy Pines!

Our Summer of Support for Sandy Pines has officially wrapped up for its second year.
For every roofing, siding, or eavestrough estimate completed in July, August, and September, Clean Comfort Home Improvements made a donation to help support the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife across Eastern Ontario.
After a busy summer, company founder Blayne Knott stopped by Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre to personally deliver the final cheque to founder Sue Meech and Administrative Director Kelly Fraser.
Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre provides veterinary care, food, shelter, and rehabilitation for more than 5,000 animals each year and operates entirely through community support.
If you’d like to continue helping, there are many ways to get involved:
-
Donate money, time, or supplies
-
Volunteer as a transporter or animal caregiver
-
Share their story on social media

About Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre
Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre is a volunteer-driven, donation-funded rescue and rehabilitation centre in Napanee, Ontario. Each year, they care for over 5,000 injured and orphaned wild animals, including:
-
Birds – raptors, songbirds, owls, and waterfowl
-
Mammals – foxes, raccoons, squirrels, bats, and more
-
Reptiles & amphibians – turtles, frogs, snakes
They provide veterinary care, food, shelter, and safe rehabilitation — with the goal of returning each animal to the wild, healthy and strong. Spring and summer are especially demanding, as hundreds of babies arrive needing around-the-clock care.

Sandy Pines receives no government operating support and relies entirely on the generosity of donors, local businesses, and volunteers.
